I am a MA student in the Memory and Imagination Lab. My current research focuses on the ways that a sustained state of threat affects memory for neutral stimuli encountered in a virtual world (i.e., a computer-generated video game). In the future, I am interested in examining the neural mechanisms underlying emotional memory and the ways that emotional memory and its substrates are affected in clinical populations such as PTSD and depression.
